This fruity gourmand blends together top notes of Strawberry, Lipstick, Plum, and Raspberry with mid-notes of Milk, Lotion, and Baby Powder. The dry down blends Caramel, Sugarcubes, and Amber. I purchased this dupe of the discontinued Melanie Martinez Crybaby perfume blindly and I was pleasantly surprised to love the fragrance! As someone that’s never smelled the OG, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the description sounded appealing so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. My other favorite perfume is Ariana Grande Cloud, and the two have the same soft, sugary-sweet quality, which I love. The strawberry notes are a bit sharper than the top notes of Cloud, and the dry down is more powdery, with similar lasting power. If I had to critique it, I would say I was hoping for a stronger baby powder aroma, and I was expecting it to last a bit longer on the skin—the lasting power I would say is average for this price point. That said, I bought this duo with the mini roll on oil to touch up my perfume throughout the day, however, I unfortunately discovered the bottle had leaked a bit upon opening my package. The leakage was minimal, but it does leak when applied as well, and I’m afraid to throw it in my purse like I intended because I worry it will stain pretty much any material of purse/bag I own. I was going to travel with it over the holidays and I’m disappointed that the little bottle is pretty much doomed to live at home lest it stain my bag, effectively defeating its purpose. I’m still giving 5 stars because I love the fragrance, the shipping was fast, and I like everything else about Miimiic, I’m just sad to have a leaky travel size bottle. Overall I still very much…

Nothing like crybaby, but it smells so cute and like strawberries!!! It doesn't have the powdery and forest-berry type scents at all. It's just like a sweet strawberry. Imagine an adult version of the strawberry shortcake scented dolls. This is it. It's very light and I love that.. I hate making an entire room smell like my perfume, choking people. It lasts long, you just can't be blinding your nose constantly with synthetics or else you'll lose that subtle sense of smell that makes the flowers of the earth smell so strongly! If you have a version that's more vanilla-gourmand-y: let me know!!

Don’t get me wrong, some people might say Miimmiic’s 52 might not smell like current cry baby, but you have to consider why the older fragrances might not be as consistent. The original crybaby is 8 years old, and if you were to sample a 8 year old crybaby, the smells might different based on how the perfume was stored and handled. To me, miimmiic’s 52 resembles the exact crybaby the first day it was released! I wanted to buy a full bottle of OG crybaby to relive the nostalgia, but I just couldn’t handle the near spoiled-like condition of such an ancient perfume. In fact, it just didn’t smell the same from how I remembered. 52 is loyal to the notes as if it were day one. A wonderful fragrance to have on hand, I am so happy I can smell good and have a piece of nostalgia with me at all times.

It's not what I expected but it still smells amazing! However, when I opened the roller perfume it had leaked all over the packaging, so much so that there was a little puddle at the bottom. I assume this is because the ball had been a little faulty, but it's alright now. The 50ml one is perfect! It lasts long on me, but I couldn't really get any of the main smells of it, like the strawberry or the milk.
