No 85 Spicy Ginger Eau De Parfum

There's a lot going on here. When the description says "ginger" it is not the ginger of a gingerbread. It is more like ginger root - wet and sharp. But on drydown there is something a little powdery and sweet too. The overall scent is light on drydown. I really like this and wouldn't have purchased the scent based on the original this one is supposed to duplicate. I chose it because I was looking for something that wasn't just another copy of the three or four fragrances that top the dupe list of every company: BR 540, Aventus, Santal 33. There is nothing wrong with those fragrances and there is a reason they are so popular: they smell great! But there is a follow-the-leader quality to the offerings of those dupe-houses. And that choice is easy to understand: you follow the money and give folks what they want! This choice, No. 85, is a bit different than those other products, and a good choice if you are looking for something fresh that isn't just what everyone else is wearing. A good blind buy for me -- check the "notes" list. They accurately describe what this perfume is offering.
